GPA Members and Psychologists,

The American Red Cross may need your help in Orlando. Florida is now a Level 3 Red Cross Disaster Response, which means that they will need people and resources from outside of Florida. In the next few days, Disaster Mental Health (DMH) volunteers will be needed to support the families that have been directly affected by this tragic event as well as supporting the community in Florida.

This support may happen in several ways including:

  1. Deployment to Florida for a minimum of 10 days. Please let me know the first date that you are available to deploy for a minimum of 10 days.
  2. Virtual Deployment (from home) to support a Red Cross Call Center.

Please update your availability in Volunteer Connection or shoot me an e-mail and I can pass the info on.

Thank you,

Andrea (aburgiomurphy@gmail.com)
