With a unanimous "Yes!!" HB 26-otherwise known as PSYPACT -moved out of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee this past Monday.

Now it is on to the Rules Committee to be voted on for placement on the Senate Calendar. Three things are needed from GPA members:

1. If your GA State Senator is on the Rules Committee call them and urge their vote to approve placement on the Senate Calendar.

2. If you haven't already done so, call your Senator and ask for their vote in favor of HB 26 -the Psychologists' Interstate Compact-when it comes to the floor.

3. Get yourself prepared to expand your practice to the increasing number of compact states where your skills are needed!


The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) is an interstate compact designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology and the temporary in-person, face-to-face practice of psychology across state boundaries. You can find more information here:
