So you think you want to be in private practice? Great….how do you make that happen?

This webinar will look at some of the ways a private practice in psychology will look. It will provide a general outline of the steps to setting up and creating a private practice, using the presenter’s own experience as a model, but also comparing this part-time, solo practitioner approach to group practices, full time practice, and other models. Participants will focus on questions they may want to consider before taking this exciting step into their emerging careers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to identify multiple services a therapist in private practice might provide.
  • Participants will discuss steps involved with establishing a private practice small business.
  • Participants will examine niche marketing as a function of clinician competency and ethical practice, not just a marketing technique.
