Diversity Dialogue: A Viewing and Discussion of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’
The Handmaid's Tale
"The Handmaid's Tale" is an Emmy-Award winning television series that is set in a not-too-distant dystopian future where the population has become infertile for unknown reasons. A small number of women have maintained their fertility and have been forced into sexual servitude for the purpose of repopulating the Earth. Please join the Diversity Directorate as we discuss this groundbreaking show through the themes of women, power and control dynamics, and the role that government plays in our lives.
Light refreshments will be served.
