Going Deep with Reflections 

Virtual Workshop | CE: 2 Hours

Workshop Description:

This intermediate motivational interviewing (MI) workshop will expand Learners understanding of and proficiency utilizing complex reflections. Applied and interactive activities will comprise the majority of the session. Learners should come prepared to interact with one another and with the facilitator. Continuous on-screen video and audio will be required. Learners should have prior knowledge of and experience with MI.

Level: Intermediate

Learning Objectives:

1. Differentiate between different types of simple and complex reflections
2. Practice identifying appropriate complex reflections in case scenarios

About the Presenter:

Megan Benoit Ratcliff, PhD, MPH is a licensed clinical psychologist and behavioral health consultant. She received her Masters in Public Health in Behavioral Science from Emory University. She received her Doctorate from the University of Georgia with additional residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She joined the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) in 2014. She has facilitated trainings in Motivational Interviewing for over ten years, with clients including United Way of Atlanta, Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Karen Carroll via email (operations@gapsychology.org). A $35 cancellation fee will be retained for any cancellations prior to one week before the event. No refunds will be given within one week of the event.
