Motivational Interviewing Tool Box

Virtual Workshop | CE: 2 Hours

Presenter: Megan Benoit Ratcliff, PhD, MPH

Workshop Description:

This intermediate workshop moves from the “what” of motivational interviewing (MI) to the “how.” Learners will be introduced to a variety of tools to enhance client readiness for change. They will be encouraged to consider how these tools can be adapted and incorporated into their current scope of practice. Learners should have prior knowledge of and experience with MI as content provided will move beyond the basics to include more process-oriented application.

Level: Intermediate

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify tools to enhance client readiness for change
  2. Assess how different tools may be implemented into current scope of practice
